Description

The pattern is from the background of a mural painted by the famous Austrian painter Gustav Klimt in honour of the equally famous composer Ludwig van Beethoven in 1902 for the 14th Vienna Art Nouveau Exhibition. This vast 34 m long work now adorns the Vienna Art Nouveau exhibition building in the center of Vienna. Our motif depicts a blooming rose garden as a parallel to the Ode to Joy from the final movement of the Ninth Symphony.
