Description

The patterns are by the famous Czech painter Alfons Mucha, who created them in 1902 as flat designs with transverse and longitudinal repetition. Mucha called the designs ‘documents décoratifs’, and they were intended to serve as inspiration for artistic craftsmen and students of arts and crafts schools.
