Description
The inspiration and reference for this pattern is the armour of the goddess Pallas Athene who, in Greek mythology, was the daughter of the supreme god Zeus, as depicted in a famous painting from 1898 by Gustav Klimt. In this painting, Klimt portrays Athene as the strongest woman. Colour, and the design of the pattern imitates the metal of her armour.
